This beautiful piece of cell phone machinery is known as the Motorola Droid. I myself wondered how long could Motorola go without having the “IT” phone.
I say that because when you go back to the Star Tac, and the V60, and the Razr, you’re talking about some cell phones that were popular for quite a long time. Then here comes the Iphone and Motorola is yesterday’s news.
Well I think Motorola has broken the proverbial silence in a major way. Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, children of all ages, Motorla Incorported proudly presents to you, the official Iphone Killer of the Woooorrrlldldddd, put your hands together for the Motorola Droid!!!!! At Boy Genius site you can read the kick butt review he did for it. But basically it in Motorola’s version of the iphone, but it has a slide out keyboard, and according to BGR it is slightly thicker than the Iphone 3GS.
And the main thing that makes it better than the Iphone which you can only get through AT&T, is that the Motorola Droid will be available for Verizon Wireless!!! Sweet! So verizons smart phones are getting better and better. I can’t wait to get one of these babies in my hands so I can take it for a test drive. Once you combine Verizons network with Motorola’s ingeniuity you got a win win situation on your hands. At least in my humble opinion which doesn’t mean anything one way or the other. But nevertheless I think that finally Steve Jobs and the fine folks at Apple have met their match.
